Drop!

The heat has been terrible. Yes, it’s still crazy hot here and we’re not too crazy about it. So sometimes I get to play indoors. And this weekend, my human taught me a new command - ‘drop’. That means, I have to drop the ball after fetching it. Usually she’d have to get it from my mouth when I give it to her. So this time she said I had to learn to drop the ball on command. I got it a few times but still need more practice. I’m still used to handing it to her and wait for her to get it from my mouth. Hehe.

  • Hi Lucas! Drop is not one of my favorites..I usually give the ball up after either the 13th time or the 63rd time my mom or dad says drop….usually its never..but sometimes I try to appease them.

  • Hey Lucas!

    Your hooman taught you the ‘drop’ command? My mommy taught me that last time too but then she stopped asking to do that after that coz after doing that many times, I started the habit of not retrieving my ball, toy, etc properly by sitting in front of her & giving it to her when she asks me to. I go for OB classes & I cannot drop my dumbell on the ground when I retrieve. I’ll fail my exam like that…
