Rawhide, Breath Biscuits, and a New Toy

Here are the new toys and treats that my human bought last weekend:

I got a new rawhide to chew on, some breath biscuits, and a Leo toy!

The Breath Biscuits are by Merrick Pet Foods. These are small bone-shaped chicken based biscuits. It contains chlorophyll which helps in providing better breath for us dogs. What’s nice about it is that it comes in a resealable bag so my human didn’t have to transfer the biscuits into another container. Here are the ingredients:

Chicken, Whole Grain Barley Flour, Brown Rice, Chicken Meal, Rolled Oats, Whole Potato, Whole Apple, Rice Bran, Flaxseed Oil, Poultry Fat, (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Calcium Carbonate, Yeast Culture, Menhaden Fish Meal, Dried Alfalfa, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Chlorophyl, Rosemary, Peppermint.

I’ve enjoyed the treats so far (well honestly, I always enjoy any treats offered to me..hihi). I gobbled up a few after having to perform some basic commands for my human (ugh…I always always have to work for my treats…oh well). Laika got some for herself too.

That strange looking bottle-shaped toy is called a Leo which was created by Canine Genius. It was named in honor of the genius Leonardo da Vinci. This toy is multi-purpose. It can be used for playing fetch, tugging, and most of all it is a treat-dispenser toy — a puzzle for us dogs. The humans put several treats inside and then we’re supposed to figure out how to expel those treats. This is definitely useful when we get bored and have nothing to do. It keeps our mind going. It’s irresistibly chewy too and very durable.

Tonight my human let Laika play with it for a while. But later when I wanted it back, she wouldn’t give it! Hmp! She wanted it all for herself. Grrr. Why can’t she have her own Leo! That’s ok. She can have it….for now. Tomorrow it will be all mine. Hehe.
